Meet the Habibi Bears: A New Breed for Today's World
Our Habibi Bears are a unique hybrid mix of companion breeds, cultivated and recorded for over 35 years. We recognized the need for a breed that could support today's busy urban lifestyles and children with special needs, while also restoring genetic diversity lost due to inbreeding in pure breeds. Our beautiful dogs are non-shedding and highly empathic, making them ideal for therapy work, psychiatric service, emotional support, and family companionship. They are especially perfect for children with Autism, offering a gentle and understanding presence.
Raised with loving care on our Habibi Method Curriculum, our puppies come home with a specially created course on how to raise a puppy and establish an unbreakable bond. Our focus is on relationship building and healing, ensuring that each Habibi Bear brings joy and comfort to their new families. Welcome to the Habibi family!
Our breed was created for our non-profit organization to provide healing support to children in need. Through our program, we have matched over 100 children and families with our magical dogs. From courtroom facility support to psychiatric service dogs and therapy work, our Habibi Bears are a purposeful mosaic of love and healing. We offer full service for our families, including Puppy Charm School—a head start for puppies, courses in raising puppies, preparing for therapy or service dog public access exams, raising two puppies, and more. At Habibi Bears, you're becoming part of a community. Our Habibi Tribe is filled with like-minded dog parents who cherish the bond with their canine companions. Join the movement!
