I am a chiropractor who raises AKC Yorkshire Terriers only for long life, health and socialization in my home. My studs are 2 and 4 pounds, and my girls range from 3-8 pounds, resulting in teacup and standard yorkies. I also have two parti girls so I have some rare parti (black and white) yorkies.
All puppies are wormed, have their tails docked and dew claws removed. Vaccination is by request and usually delayed until 16 weeks. Puppies are weaned to kibble and will eat it, but all dogs get some raw, meaty bones. We use natural flea preventatives. Dr. Todd Coomey, a nationally known holistic vet, attends to anything over my head.
Puppies are adopted at 8 weeks, when they are thoroughly weaned.
